Derman'S LAB
Functional Nano-Biomaterials and
Peptide Chemistry Research Group

She started to study at the Department of Bioengineering in Yıldız Technical University, in 2007 and then continued with the education of master’s at Department of Stem Cell and Tissue Regeneration, in 2012. After a few years of research on gene therapy, supported by TÜBİTAK, she has gained MSctitle. Then she continued with her education of doctorate at the Department of Bioengineering at Yıldız Technical University. Here, she has awarded a scholarship on the field of biomaterials and tissue engineering. She is interested in there search areas of drug carriers controlled releasing systems, cell-material interactions, stem cells, gene transfer, and molecular mechanisms.
Master Thesis:
InVitroStudy of Prolactin Gene Transferred Mesenchymal Stem Cells Against Induced Chondrocyte Apoptosis (supported by TÜBİTAK 3001)
